Street Outreach

The most vulnerable people in our community are at-risk for being sex trafficked on the streets of Columbus. Freedom a la Cart wants to bring hope to those caught in a lifestyle of substance use, exploitation and trafficking. Community members can be an impactful part of this initiative by helping to bring kindness, support and resources to this vulnerable population. Together, through Freedom a la Cart’s new street outreach, we’ll collect, assemble and deliver “freedom bags” as an ongoing touchpoint.

Our aim is to reach trafficking victims in areas of Columbus not currently being served by existing street outreach programs. We’ve identified a service gap in the Linden area. This is where our bi-weekly street outreach will begin. Additionally, as part of our street outreach program, Freedom a la Cart is providing outreach bags for partners serving other neighborhoods and sexually exploited populations.

Currently, Freedom is looking for donations of the following to supplement our Street Outreach Program, through the link below:

Street Outreach will occur twice monthly, so please keep checking the link throughout the month. Monetary donations can be made on our website here
