Chicken Caprese & Kale Caesar Salad

Cooking Instructions:

Chicken Caprese & Kale Caesar Salad

In Your Meal Kit:

  • Chicken Breasts
  • Tomato
  • Mozzarella slices
  • Pesto Sauce
  • Kale Caesar Salad
  • Parmesan
  • Caesar Dressing

PREPARING YOUR MEAL

Roast chicken breasts on high heat.

Depending on the thickness of your chicken breasts, roasting chicken at 450°F should require a cooking time of about 15-18 minutes.  Cooking at high heat quickly develops a crispier “crust” on the outside of the breasts, which also helps to lock in those juices and keep the oven roasted chicken perfectly tender on the inside. Let them reach an internal temperature of 165 degrees.

Loosely tent a sheet of aluminum foil over the pan to keep the heat in while the chicken rests.  And then after 5-10 minutes, you can plate your meal.

Top chicken breast with fresh tomato and mozzarella slices then drizzle with pesto sauce. (Optional: Put back in oven to heat tomatoes and mozzarella.)

Kale Caesar Salad: top with grated parmesan and caesar dressing and enjoy.

VEGETARIAN VERSION:

Tofu Caprese & Kale Caesar Salad

In Your Meal Kit:

  • Tofu
  • Tomato
  • Mozzarella slices
  • Pesto Sauce
  • Kale Caesar Salad
  • Parmesan
  • Caesar Dressing

PREPARING YOUR MEAL

Roast tofu on high heat.

Depending on the thickness of your tofu, roasting tofu at 400°F should require a cooking time of about 25 to 30 minutes, tossing the tofu halfway, until the tofu is deeply golden on the edges.

Top tofu with fresh tomato and mozzarella slices then drizzle with pesto sauce. (Optional: Put back in oven to heat tomatoes and mozzarella.)

Kale Caesar Salad: top with grated parmesan and caesar dressing and enjoy.

Build your own

Kid's Pizza Kit

In Your Meal Kit:

  • Par baked pizza dough
  • Tomato sauce
  • Mozzarella cheese
  • Pepperoni

Prepare Your Meal:

Preheat oven to 400F degrees. Place pizza on cooking sheet and add your toppings! Bake for 5-7 minutes.

Bake at home

Cookies

Chocolate Chip Cookies

Preheat oven to 350F. Place cookies on baking sheet 3” a part and bake for 12-13 minutes. Don’t forget to top with a pinch of sea salt while they are warm!

 

Peanut Butter Cookies

Preheat oven to 350F. Place cookies on baking sheet 3” a part and bake for 12-13 minutes.
