Volunteer + Mentor Training — Summer 2025
Want to make a difference in the life of a survivor of human trafficking? Interested in learning how you can become a vital part of the Freedom a la Cart family? Join us at our next Volunteer Training!
At Freedom a la Cart there are many ways to get engaged – including mentoring, working in our kitchen, assisting with program outings, and helping at events in the community. We’re currently in need of dedicated, weekly volunteers in our kitchen and this training is required to get started.
Whether you’re ready to dive in or just exploring how to get more involved, this training will give you the tools, support, and insight to make a lasting impact in our community of survivors. We’d love to have you in the room!
Training will include:
- Overview of Freedom a la Cart
- Volunteer Opportunities
- Human Trafficking Training
- Best Practices for Working with Survivors
- Expectations + Guidelines for Mentorship*
*The last section of this training is required for those interested in becoming a mentor and is optional for those interested in pursuing other volunteer opportunities.
