Freedom a la Cart invites you to our second Legal Empowerment Lunch & Learn. Join us Friday, June 17th, from 1-2:30 pm for an overview on Franklin County’s H.A.R.T. Court- Helping Achieve Recovery Together.
Did you know? Ohio has one of the highest drug overdose death rates nationally; with 15% of the prison population being incarcerated for drug possession charges. The H.A.R.T. program is a two-year, four-phase opioid-specific drug court; giving defendants with a history of treatment, refusal, or non-compliance the opportunity to engage in addiction treatment. In this Lunch & Learn, you’ll learn how the H.A.R.T. court specialty docket works; and discuss tangible ways YOU can support restorative justice within our community!
Registration is $10, with a free $10 café gift card given to event attendees upon arrival. Register today and come with your questions on how to become an advocate for restorative justice within our city!
