Freedom a la Cart Café + Bakery serves fresh baked pastries, scratch-made meals and locally roasted coffee as a meaningful extension of our mission-focused business. We are committed to serving quality products with full flavors that elevate the ordinary into extraordinary. The café is open Monday through Saturday to offer a fresh, meaningful dining experience to the Columbus community. Dine-in, patio seating, takeout and downtown delivery available.

Each café purchase provides workforce training and wraparound services for local survivors of sex trafficking. Freedom is a place where survivors can heal, learn and grow as they establish personal and economic self-sufficiency.

If you want to support a smaller shop with a great intent and amazing food, you've found the right place. We arrived not too long after the doors opened and were warmly welcomed. Their banana and zucchini breads are dairy free and delicious!! My cousin got the breakfast sandwich and it was a palate pleaser! Don't forgot to donate $10 to the cause if you can.

Do you serve breakfast and lunch all day?
Yes! All menu items are available all day.
Do you take reservations?
All seating in our café + bakery is first come, first served. If you have a large group meeting, you can reach out to us at order@freedomalacart.org. We would be happy to provide venue recommendations and offer catering delivery for you.
Do you deliver?
We offer downtown delivery through our friends at Bustown Couriers.
What’s the earliest I can place an order in the café?
We offer same-day online ordering. You can schedule an order for the day as early as 7am.
Can I place an order over the phone?
All takeout and delivery orders must be placed online.
